James Willard Schultz (1859-1947) is in Montana’s Cowboy Hall of Fame. He embraced Native American living and wrote several books about his experiences, including Blackfeet Tales of Glacier National Park, which is available as a free ebook through www.gutenberg.org.
According to cutbankpioneerpress.com, not only is Schultz in the Cowboy Hall of Fame but so is Francis X. Guardipee, the son of a close friend of Schultz’s named Eli. Guardipee was inducted in 2018.
